đź“š Eric Carle has passed away

It is with great sadness that I have to pass along the information that Eric Carle, of The Very Hungry Caterpillar fame has passed away. He was 91.
I met him in 2008 during a trip to Connecticut and Massachusetts. We had a spare day and I had the internet on my phone (shout out to the HTC Ozone!) so we started looking for things to do. As we researched, we found that we were very far from The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. Well, that sounded cool, so we decided we were going to visit. And then we started looking at the events, and we had picked the day that Eric Carle was going to be there! To make sure we got in, we joined the museum since members got in an hour early.
