Multiversus could be the ultimate platform brawler and more - This Geek in Review for 2022-01-28
By goz
I can’t believe I am now just hearing about MultiVersus. It’s a platform brawler like Super Smash Brothers, and they are focusing on making a great game. What got be excited was the roster of characters. Did you know there are more pop culture icons other than Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars? When they started a demo and the characters were Bugs Bunny and Batman, I was in awe!
Facebook and the youth
I’m not a big fan of Facebook, and apparently today’s teens aren’t either.
What I don’t understand is how people use Facebook. There are people that can’t walk and chew gum at the same time, but they are constantly on Facebook. I guess they’re just blindly scrolling through looking for that next tantalizing piece of gossip, but, is that really living?
Star Trek: Picard - Season 2
Ugh, I had such high hopes for Picard, and with season 1 there were glimmers of a good show. And now, instead of showing us something new, it looks like Picard Season 2 is just dredging up more nostalgia from The Next Generation.
Of course, I’ll still be watching it. Just like how I rage watch Star Trek Into Darkness when I feel like shouting into the void of space.
