In the 80s, I lived 10 miles out of town and had 4 channels. Even then, I still knew what MTV was and tried to watch it any chance I got. The closest we had to MTV was Friday Night Videos. I was curious what MTV is today, so I pulled up the schedule. Apparently MTV is now the Ridiculousness. What a lost opportunity, where is the retrospective? YouTube killed MTV a long time ago, mostly due to the impulsivity of people today.
